Obviously the F is incorrect. He is an ESTJ all the way.

I attribute his split T/F responses to a) language barriers (there were a lot of terms such as soft-hearted and hard-nosed which I had to explain to him) and b) that he recently got out of a long-term relationship with a person with personality disorders and drug addiction, so he has developed some strong, co-dependent traits.

Good job, all. (Now on to discover how to make this unholy INFP-ESTJ relationship work...)
