As I've mentioned towards the end of these threads:

I am thinking that someone can type differently letter by letter than by functions.
In my case, I'm more INTJ letter by letter and INTP by functions.
But I'd be interested to hear what you think, so I've created a poll.
My rationale for doing this is that overall, MBTI tests excluding the function-based ones have tended to type me as INTJ more often than INTP. The exception is the MBTI step II which has me as a moderate preference for P with a P preference on three of the five subscales and middle on the other two. It is the official MBTI test but its still wrong about 25% of the time.
The Kiersey test, the Humanmetrics test, and Lenore Thomsons test, all score me as INTJ. After re-reading the J/P descriptions in Lenore Thomson's book, I am more and more convinced I'm a J.
Functionwise, I'm only so-so with the Ni. I identify much more with TiNe than with NiTe.
Call me crazy but I'm even considering ISTJ right now as I have quite good access to Si. Maybe its the whole Ti-Si loop thing.
