I wanna help! :( Why are you confused about your type?

I'm going to go ahead and throw in "FJ" with confidence.

Jen, you got the MBTI Awards together and organized the Spring/Summer MBTI forum get-together. Are you sure you're not E?

I relate to your post far too well for you to be anything else, even this little bout of self-doubt.

We can help you determine your type soon enough, but it would take us a lot longer to help you understand who you are.

I'd say you're definitely J, and probably N. But I'd like to test a few things first...

Do you have your results from that function test?

Have you taken an Enneagram test?

Those are the first things I'd like to see...

Instinctively, INTJ... but you like to play with lesser used functions like Fe and Fi. Maybe it's a development thing as you got older. Do you remember being colder and more logic oriented as a youngster?

I'd say ENFP, but considering how little I know you, you obviously should take that with a mountain of salt :D

* E - because of that ability you have to Just. Keep. Going. You never seem to get tired, especially of socialising. I know I can have my Extraverted moments, but I always end up getting "tired" and having to retreat. You don't seem to go through that. BUT of course, the Internet is possibly the worst medium through which to determine Introversion/Extraversion, so the biggest portion of the mountain of salt should go to that letter

* NF - because you just reek of NF   There are some NFs that sometimes give me an NT vibe, but you don't.

* P. Because not J. But I'm awfully biased on that one, seeing as I am an INFJ married to an ENFJ, so I may not have a "full" view of what being an NFJ can cover. However, if I may use our discussion on the "too much fluff" thread as an example, I must say that I was very surprised to have you ask me why it matters to me, if it doesn't affect me directly. For both me and my husband, it's a *given* that if there are people who are unhappy with a system, then the system must at the very least be re-examined. That's typical Fe at work. And apparently you didn't feel that way. Which prompts me now to consider whether you might be Ne/Fi rather than Ni/Fe, and er, well, yes, it fits, it fits very well, especially since I do remember thinking quite a few times that you were emitting vibes that awfully resembled Ne (like, er, right now for example ;) Posting a totally open thread asking people for their idea of what your type is, that's just SOOO Ne :D)

So I'll go with ENFP. Covered in a mountain of salt. I really don't have any problem with you being an INFJ, if that's what you are. We have different flavours of INFJ on this forum, and you'd only be another one. No big deal at all. Quite interesting in fact. So please don't go thinking that I'm trying to "evict" you from my type or anything, OK ;) ?

I'm laughing out loud right now  . As for the response on fluff I was tired and really didn't give shit. :D Which is why you shouldn't post when bored or tired.

You always reminded me of my ESTP cousin.
But of course, a) I don't know you b) I've only seen a few of your posts c) People act differently on and off line.

But of course this is meant as a compliment because I admire my cousin in so many ways, she's an amazing person.

Still I'm not sure if I should vote because like I said I don't know enough about you to judge.

ENFJ or ESFJ, probably the former. I don't know you good enough (= haven't read enough of your posts) to make up my mind about your N/S preference.

You definitely are very E online! And F! ENFJ seems like a good fit to me, but I don't think I know any ENFJs in real life, so..... more salt? (Jen's gonna be poisoned into high blood pressure.)

Woohoo! Wonder Twin powers, activate!

I'd say Jennifer and Cafe are accurate sources, as we've logged quite a bit of chat time online. Plus I trust their knowledge of MBTI.

Geoff it's actually the opposite. Maybe it's because I'm married to an INTJ? I think so anyway. I am far less sympathetic to those who are undeserving. My way of thinking is completely different at the age I am now.

As for being S, that's just not possible. Not that there is anything wrong with S types, because just as with any type they are very useful in society. If I were to open a business I would hire my ESFJ friend in a heartbeat! My mother (ISFJ) is also a very efficient and loyal employee.

Athenian I hate those tests because I will spend time trying to take it apart and make it work to my advantage which imo is pointless and time consuming. :) But thanks anyway.

I take it you have no interest in looking at any more tests or trying to answer my questions, then? Darn.

I'd say ExFJ ;) you remind me incredibly of my ESFJ aunt- the way you type, the battles you take on, and everything! I seriously was suspicious at first that you actually WERE my aunt! :rofl1:

plus- you somehow don't give off the INFJ vibe I get from INFJs to me!
