Here are my scores: Extraverted 22, Sensing 38, Feeling 25, Perceiving 33.

So how do we validate these results? That is the first time I have ever received anything that wasn't INTJ or INFJ.
it's so easy to get the results on tests that you want to get. you can't fully trust tests.

can you please post your scores (ALL 8 functions) on the cognitiveprocesses test? i know gabe doesn't like it, but i think it's probably the best test on the internet. it's quite flawed, sure, but at least it will give us somewhere to start.

also, check out Terms With Nonobvious Meanings

look at Se and Ti for ESTP, or Fi/Ne for xNFP, or Ni/Te for INTJ, etc.

Well you DID say you are in an ESTP mood.

    What about my other questions?
Are you really critical of yourself?
    Do you struggle with perfectionism?

Umm, I visited the nonobvious meanings website. Way too much reading involved. Sorry.

Also, I will re-take the cognitive assement and post my results.

I'm not very critical of myself except when it's concerning something I should be good at. For example I recently replaced the horn on my car and during the process i dropped the wrench about half a dozen times. That annoyed me greatly as i am usually well co-ordinated.

I'm not much of a perfectionist as (this probably sounds silly) i feel perfectionism ruins some of the magic.

By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENTP

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. well it's pretty unlikely you're an F. ESTP or ENTP i guess.

when you see a ball, do you see: it's round, it has stitches, it's white, it has writing on it, etc.
or do you see: it can bounce, it can roll, it can break windows, etc.
    ?

Ahh, the old N vs. S question

I would notice its shape before its potential.
