Well, according to the definitions, extraverts get their energy from interactions with others. However, I don't see you as being an extravert. Everybody does both introversion and extraversion.

Yeah, that's the MBTI definition of an extravert. The needy puppy types would STEREOTYPICALLY be ESFx. (I said, based on stereotypes...and perhaps personal observation.)
