This is true, the male Fs I know dont come off very much as Fs, even the ENFJs.

    Which:

    - I have a need to live a life of purpose, do something meaningful and good.

    - I have a need to make contact with the structural potential of a situation and to have an effect on its material possibilities.

If it weren't for your videos and photographs, I could see you as a possible T, but as it is, I think you're a Feeler who just happens to be a sensible and logical human being. That really isn't as strange as the MBTI seems to imply. Almost everyone tries to use their brain to the best of their ability, and using your brain is inseparable from emotions and values. The only question is whether you try to detach from your feelings, in favor a more impersonal framework, or embrace them as crucial guides to life.

Two great posts by Amargith here.

Fi is the filter that organizes what comes in via all the senses, distills it and creates hypotheses about people and situations. Thus you can test these possible theories and create scenarios - through observation, or to "play" in a sense - to get enough data with which to make sounder and more accurate conclusions. In order to try to assess what's correct ... how to help, how to proceed.

That is an excellent thought Udog. I think that way as well - I feel my feelings, but they are a factor, not necessarily an overriding one.

Don't let your rationality regarding emotions lead you to decide you don't process them similarly.

I think too this is more of an enneagram issue - 9 wing and all...

    imo F.

your "feel" reminds me of wolfy in some ways, who also manages to come across as an F without being all "crazy F".

actually my bf is like that too. I thought he was istp until I got him to take the test early on, and he's literally the most calm and laidback person I know...but definitely isfp now that I know him better.

    why are you doubting this

OK, tell us why you previously decided on Fi.

Do you bottle your feelings down when tired/stressed, or do you gorge on them?

HAN SOLO IS NOT A F!!:steam:(shocked)

But for the rest I agree, elsewhere, females thinkers are easily mistyped as F.
