Am I an ENTP or an INTJ?

I was sure that I'm an ENTP, but now I'm uncertain.

I don't behave the same way my INTJ friends do, but I share a lot of their opinions.

I feel like I'm more open to change my mind than they are. And I'm more social. Could I be an outgoing INTJ? How can I find out? I'm familiar with the functions and ENTP's seem to describe me, but could I be mistaken? I could be typed by an outsider as either ENTJ, INTJ, ENTP, or INTP.

I feel like a dipshit even asking this question.

Based completely on post style (ie. this post), ENTP.

You share your friends opinions on what? Love? Ice-cream preference?

But now that I think about it, I could share the opposing opinion too. Hmm.

So ENTP, then?

i agree with nanook...it's the ne...because as an enfp...i think i know how most people are feeling so i can predict how they will act....same sort of thing i think.

I can share the opinions of my friends and not be their type. I can also know how they think and not be their type. I have a lot of friends, some of which are pretty different from me as well (ESTJ, ISTJ, ENTJ ESTP etc).

Just from how you post you are ENTP. No way in hell you're INTJ.

I wouldn't mind being an INTJ though. I think they're pretty cool. :wubbie:

your friends are most likely TiNe, just like you, except introverted.
Errm. No. 'Just like you, but introverted' is NeTi, ie. INTP.
Te/Ti Ni/Ne are not the same. If they were we wouldn't need to qualify them!

Can someone explain this to me please? It is completely counterintuitive.

INTJs say pretty much everything I purposely avoid saying for social reasons.

When I do actually say these things, I'm usually doing it strategically. Believing something to be true is rarely my only reason for saying anything.

ENTPs say a lot of the stupid shit I think but won't say because....it's stupid shit. Does that make me an ENTP?

I think not.
