Hmmm, I suppose I could be wrong then =/. Though, like Orangey was saying, he seems rather N is some ways. I agree with him, I would have a hard time seeing an "ST" like him not being able to tolerate work.

I think it's hard to get the gears going for them. Like.. If it's work that they can't appreciate and enjoy, they resent it quickly and would rather not work at all. I think once they find something they like, they cling to it like letting go would make them fall off the edge. They're like diesel engines. Once they get going, they're fine. They need time to warm up to that point.

Yeah. To me he sounds INTJ.

    I'll go IxTx.

I can see this being an INTP with pronounced Si or an IxTJ.
For me it's the baseball and the job which sounds too mind numbing for an INTJ.

I agree with you about him being more X-ish on the S-N...but a P? Are you kidding? He has too much of a routine to be a P lol.

I don't believe the presense of an N proves he's not an S. everyone displays all 8 traits. To what degree is the difference. I say ISTJ because he sounds very similar to my ISTJ friend based on what was written.

I dunno...all the ISTJs I know would feel ashamed of themselves if they went that long without working at all.

Right, right. But from what I've seen, Ns tend to care more about online games. It's not concrete and real-world enough for dominant S types.

Though, if I try to imagine him taking an MBTI test or two, he would probably "type himself" as an S. Hmmmm.

INTJs usually enjoy talking about the future. It's not a rule, but it is close to the definition of the type.

The T and J seem pretty clear.
He seems too dedicated in his hobbies to be INTP.

A perciever would want to spend more time doing than planning.

Orangey^ Is the age a factor? I admit, I have not been long in the ISTJ jungle. Work isn't super high on the priority list of mine though so far as I can tell. Responsibility, yes, but that requires one to think work is responsibility. A college student might be satisfied focusing entirely on that first.
