These hypothetical people were deliberately made ambiverted.
One is quiet but enjoys and is energized by people.
The other is loud and bossy but is somewhat worn out by people.
The first one is IXFP.
The second one is EXTJ.
The S/N is almost irrelevant here- my descriptions could adequately describe INFP/ISFP for #1 and ENTJ/ESTJ for #2.
This confirms something I've been thinking about Te-dominant types for #2- in order to be an extravert, you don't necessarily have to enjoy spending time with people- you can't choose whether you are an introvert or extravert. The first one is Fi-dominant and while he has preferences towards introversion, he likes being with people and will spend a lot of time with them.
-Not very assertive
-Does well alone, one-on-one, and in large groups
-Will avoid people he doesn't like and be almost unresponsive to them
-Not bothered by external stimulation and often thrives with it.
-Quiet around most but partially because he is more interested in what the other person has to say than what he has to say and partially because he thinks others are much more interested in what they have to say, so just let them talk.
-Enjoys getting drunk and meeting new people
-Will dominate conversations
-Doesn't seek much stimulation
-Hates parties and is easily content with a quiet night
-Doesn't enjoy getting drunk and doesn't like meeting new people
Introvert or Extravert for these two?
i know some people dont agree with my ENTJ label based on what ive posted before, both here and on other sites. For my "IRL" self, I fit "B" very well... and everyone else seems to agree that its xXTJ... reassuring, though i dont really need it.
