Default Salutations

I don't normally introduce myself on forums, I prefer to just jump right in (what can I say? I'm not big on social protocol). And I already did that so I'm not really sure why I'm introducing myself but this forum is less populated than most of the others I've been to so I guess it somehow seems too appropriate not to do it.

Anyway, I found out about the MBTI about a year ago and was really interested in it but as with most things I get interested in, I found another interest to get distracted by once I felt I knew enough. After enduring a year of MBTI-related thoughts surfacing every time I met someone new or wondered what would drive a person to do something though I finally broke and decided to learn everything there is to know about the MBTI and then some. So here I am.

Yeah, sometimes I don't make Introduction threads, because everyone knows it's just going to consist of a bunch of "hello"s, and possibly a few goofy comments by people who wanted to break the monotony of the "hello"s, so what's the point? :/ Then again, if you skip an introduction thread, it's kind of like,"who invited you?" Not as rude as that, of course, but you're just walking in acting like you've always been there. Either that, or you introduce yourself someplace besides the Introduction Forum, in which case: why do we have an Introduction Forum? :/

That wasn't a rant, I was just thinking, and trying to beef up your thread. Enjoy your time here!

Edit: Never mind, the whole thing sounded much more rude than it was supposed to sound.

Also, I remember the first time I learned of the word "salutations" was in elementary school, when the teacher read "Charlotte's Web" to us. Haven't used it much since, but good to know just in case.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
-What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
-Yes, my dear.
