new INTP

Hello.

I am INTP, at least I am pretty sure I am. I am also fairly strong in S. I tend to be very aware of details in my environment - when I am not completely inside myself. N seems to be stronger though, but I still wrestle to come to grips with my N tendancies.

I have always been very introspective and have spent lots of time trying to figure myself out - I am a complicated person. Because I am so different than everyone else people tend to want to change me or try to disavow who I am.

I have been on a web group for introverts the past few months which has given me lots of insight. I want to explore my other letter now, especially the N. Also maybe talk with some other NT types about how they dealing with feelings and emotions, since that is a tough area for me.

I am interested in discussions about philosphy, psychology and spirituality and it looks like this might be a good place to discuss them.

Admitting that we have them and allowing them to be expressed while still under rational control seems to be the key challenge.
