Wait for her to do what? Is it some kind of chivalry thing? If it is, you probably shouldn't do that, INTP's don't usually care for those kind of social conventions, and they're actually offended by them in some cases. Actually, a lot of people these days feel like certain social courtesies like that are a bit backwards, so be careful.

it was moreso to do with me waiting for her to find out what she wants in life, because she said at the moment she doesnt know what she wants and needs time to sort it out, hence the waiting

She probably really doesn't know and someone hovering over her asking her what she wants just makes her feel claustrophobic. She's not always going to be taking her emotional temperature all the time and reporting the results. She doesn't have a timeline or long-range goals or what have you. She's also probably not analyzing the state of your relationship on a daily basis. If you're still around, she likes you. If she broke up with you, it's probably because she perceived your questions as needy and constricting. I decided to stop seeing a guy for that reason once. If he'd just chilled out, I'd have liked him a lot. I understand that you feel like she should meet you halfway, but this kind of constant emotional questioning is absolutely draining for an INTP, and sometimes it's just not worth it to us to have to keep up with that stuff in order to make the relationship work. It's a basic incompatibility issue (I'm not saying all INTPs and all INFJs would have this problem--just individuals, perhaps.). Welcome.
