You should probably be "spellin_nazi" or "spelling_nazi" if you're only going to correct spelling... Grammar correction is much more nuanced and interesting than spelling. Though I must say, I do find spelling errors more irritating because these days your browser will underline misspelled words for you. ALLS YOU HAS TO DO IS RITE CLIK!
Spellin_nazi doesn't evoke the image I was aiming for. Do people accuse other people of being spelling nazis? No! Gramma_nazi not only plays on the expression grammar nazi, it evokes an image of a kindly maternal figure who bakes oatmeal cookies by day, and crushes skulls by night.
Spellin nazi doesn't mean anything. It would have to be spellin_witch or something. But witches aren't mean enough. Then again they do bake children and live in gingerbread houses. Hmmm, I'll have to ponder that one. Does anyone else want to be the grammar nazi?
"How dreadful!" cried Lord Henry. "I can stand brute force, but brute reason is quite unbearable. There is something unfair about its use. It is hitting below the intellect." ~ Oscar Wilde - The picture of Dorian Gray
