I am a Deaf Education major. I am fluent in American Sign Language. My other passion is music. I sing, play the bassoon....and play the marimba (only during marching band in high school). Actually, it's kind of a joke now that I'm the only Deaf Ed major at my college who made 2 of their choirs.

I am an only child so that has always made it even more difficult for me to relate to my peers. I get along best with people who are older or younger. Other than my parents, my best friend is 36 years old! My mom is an ESFP and my dad is an ISTJ so you can imagine what a crazy mixture we are!

Anything else you want to know, just ask.
    Hello there

Are you fully hearing and learning ASL etc? If so that's unusual, but you'll have a guaranteed job as an interpreter, so good choice.

Hey Geoff! Yes, I am hearing. Well, I first took ASL in high school because it was offered as a foreign language. Plus, I'm intrigued by ASL, Deaf culture, and the Deaf community. I was the historian for my high school's ASL club and we'd go to visit deaf residents in an assisted living home on Saturdays. They were the sweetest people and I felt so bad for them because their families never visited them or even bothered to learn ASL. However, I'm not sure if I could ever be an interpreter. I don't think I could take the pressure of having to sign what someone is saying really fast in front of strangers. Yikes!

Welcome, LindseyLadybug. INFJ's are one of the coolest types. We're always glad to have more as they class up the joint.

LOL! Nope, I'm only 2 years older than you.

Really? Was she an INFJ too? I chose that picture because it seems pretty INFJ-ish.
I really don't know, I have my doubts though. Oh well.
