Default INTJ - I'm Near The Jungle...

OK, my creativity pooped-out and could only come up with that intro.

Anyways, Please say Hello to my idol (avatar), Mickey Rourke because he's an actor's actor and fiercely independent. Vision undeterred, yet we suffer being misunderstood and feared. It's like being a cat in a dog's world and I don't want to be a dog.

I'm at the crossroads of giving up that which has brought me past successes (the INTJ traits) by losing the vision, individuality to be a social animal and be with friends, be with someone and find a job. Is this middle age crisis? It's easy to say "just be yourself", but not easy being lonely because you were yourself.

OK, got that off my chest and "hello!"

Hello, you are both kind for greeting me so quickly. (means a lot).

I'm thinking that immersing yourself with similar peers and in working environments that we were born for, does not allow us to grow as people. It can reinforce the negative qualities and boot us right off the bell curve of sociability. Also looking over the sister site intjforum.com and it's funny as heck ( 'cause I relate) but imagine a geek, whose burned-out being a geek. My new motto "F-it, Let it go..." works so well!

This place is great..I'll keep reading and reading 'till i can't read no mo'.
Umm.. can you paste the link to the reference MBTI test (or thread), please ?

    Thanks to you

It does sound like midlife crisis indeed, which is nicely supported by your avatar

Part of what happens as we get older is that our supporting functions begin to develop more.
This helps us to be more balanced, so I think that's one of the things you're feeling the effects of.

I think your dissatisfaction is a good thing.
Becoming more sociable is a good thing, too.

Oh. And welcome to the forum!
