No, no the self-introductory thread is what you should have made instead of this. This is what you wanted, but did not have the courage to carry through with this, so this was just your subtle way of getting the attention that you wanted to get with the kind of a self-introductory thread that the rest of the imbeciles made while engaging in thoughtless vainglory.

What makes you think that I post so much because of vanity?

Please give me five philosophically legitimate (not only rationally tenable, but also persuasive) reasons for why I should not come to this conclusion.
I'll get you my pretty, and your little hermit crab too!

I can easily say that the reason why I post is not because I want for others to recognize me, but because I enjoy doing this. A vain person would make a lot of public appearances in order to get recognition. Yet I am just enjoying myself. I have no regard for being recognized.

OK, lets clear up on a few things here.

    Again...

    1) You don't know me, so trying to perform some kind of analysis on my behavior is just stupid. You have no clue what I want.
    2) Get over yourself. There is no rational reason to introduction threads, but there is no rational reason to a lot of customs. Like having wearing clothes on a hot day.
    3) Again, what in the fucking hell are you talking about? This IS an introduction thread. I introduced myself, didn't I? Sure, it was in a non-serious manner, but last time I checked, this isn't ISTJ central.
    4) Thoughtless vainglory? You make less and less sense as you write. If I were trying to be vain, I might not have picked a completely different user name from the one I have on the main forums, and actually posted something about myself instead of just saying "hi".

And... that's all the attention I'm giving to this troll.

It was just a joke... I didnt really have a point to make. The satire was on introductory threads in general and not on particular individuals who are responsible for their existence on this board.

Simply being easy to say does not make your statement persuasive, you have failed to even try to make an argument.

That is true, I made no effort to build a persuasive argument.

In order for the point of me not being vain to be taken, it has to be shown that I am not making a conscious effort to attract attention. This will be very difficult.

I must say, the short discourse between Anonymous and SolitaryWalker amused me greatly.
