Hi, I've been reading the forum for a while and decided to join. I'm INTJ, and the last few months (but really over the course of a few years) has been tough work-wise. I've got a back condition that makes it really uncomfortable to sit or stand still for really any period of time, so I am most comfortable when I am on the move. I transitioned from landscaping (so nice for my back) to working at a grocery supermarket (great for being air conditioned and still moving a lot). In theory, it was a great job and I was there for a while, but I was bummed that I quit when my INTJ style got in the crosshairs of some really bitter and strange people at my work. Really, it came down to mismanagement, even though I was really settling in there. Dealing with this is really what led me to trying to understand people and their personalities better (being a classically emotionally distant INTJ... I can be social inept at times, but I can be open when I need to)
I enjoy playing different sports and traveling. I love anything engineering, but I ended up studying economics. Right now, I'm reading up on a lot on personality and the like, and it is definitely interesting. Thanks in advance and I look forward to what else I will learn here.
