Default Hello from a female ISTP =D

How cool that 3% of the female world is also ISTP. I thought I was the only one! If anyone has any questions about what it's like, ask away. I've always found myself pretty fascinating for being so different from everyone else. But then again, everyone thinks that, right?

Looking forward to learning more about the different types. I couldn't believe how accurately ISTP described me, I made my family take the test too, and we all found it sadly hilarious how accurate it was. Like for example...

    ESTJ mom: needs positive affirmation
INFJ dad and me: rarely give positive affirmation
    ESTJ mom: suffers from depression
INFJ dad and me: ultra logical
ESTJ mom: can't understand verbal logic
Me: needs to be independent, no respect for rules and authority
ESTJ mom: needs to be in control, needs to feel respected
Me: loves conflict and may stir things up to create it
INFJ dad: internalizes conflict, gets horrible migraines

Ahhh my poor, poor parents. On the outside, I was the perfect daughter with incredible academic and athletic achievements, but they couldn't have cared less about that. My mom wanted respect; my dad wanted peace. I gave them neither. On the bright side... I'm really fun?

hmm whatever you can do to eliminate stress in your life, do it!! my dad will go to vegas for weeklong trips to play poker, and gets only 2-3 small migraines instead of the daily ones he currently gets. we used to think it was from the climate change, but now we're pretty sure it's just the absence of stress. soo yeah don't marry an estj and have an istp daughter. worst combination ever. oh and don't be a lawyer!

Welcome, @Bog! I sympathize with you. I'm an INTJ with an ExFP mother and an ESTJ father. Fun times!
