Of course it is far better to be overwhelmed than underwhelmed. Being overwhelmed just means we are a little bit over excited, and we have the opportunity to relax and explore a rich environment.

Anyhow, I'm a college student who loves to read and write and spend time by myself (surprise!) I'm just hoping to continue to learn more about personality types, especially as a writer who loves using these as building blocks for characters. I find it helps me understand them better, get a better feel for their thoughts and actions. I play violin and binge watch crime shows and always am drinking tea/coffee (caffeine is wonderful). Anyhow, I'll start with that, not really sure what else there is to say. Well, time for me to go back into my little introvert bubble and I'll leave it at that.
Finally, another author! What is your genre? I write primarily Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels. No best sellers, yet.

I dabble in everything, but I mostly write fantasy romance. No best sellers yet either. How long have you been writing?

I have been writing since middle school, though I only began to get serious about it in high school. You mentioned fantasy romance, which is interesting because I also mix a romance thread into most of my longer works. I still use beta readers to help me find little inconsistancies, plot holes, and passive voice. My goal is to cut down on betas, so I can sell more. I peddle my own work.

Welcome! I hope you learn lots and enjoy it here. It takes awhile, but it will feel less big and scary soon.

I suppose the real question to ask you is; what Brontë sister do you favour?
