Thank you for the welcome. What I would assume is that more INFJs are interested in the typology system because they feel it's something that makes them feel less alone. I know I hold close to being INFJ as I feel like an outcast. Forums like this help us, so we may be more interested than others in the whole MBTI thing.

I know what you mean. I've always felt like an outsider, never fitting in, and it wasn't until I discovered typology that I realized it was because I AM an outsider, in a sense; INTJ is the rarest type among females. And I actually don't know ANY INTJs in real life. But on forums like this, I can converse with people who are like me, and it makes me feel less... weird.

    That's exactly right, BadOctopus :3
I only know one INTJ female in person. She's a good friend. Very reserved though.
    You described it all perfectly.

I'm reserved, too. But also a good friend.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Jane Eyre is an INFJ. She's one of my favorite literary characters of all time, so you're in good company.

Haha yes. I'm also reserved but I think possibly appear a little more sociable to my INTJ friends.

    Wonderful!

Oh, interesting. Why do you think there aren't so many INFJ 4w3s around?
We have 181 4w3s on the site and 593 4w5s. It could be that 4w5 is more common of a type. It could be that INF types (which tend to predominate here) tend to be 4w5 instead of 4w3. It could be that 4w3s prefer to do other things than be on forums. It could be a combination of several. It could be none of them. Those are some guesses though.

I work with an INFJ 4w3. She's great.

Yes, yes. Very good point. Much to take into consideration.

Oh, that's wonderful! I'm glad you have had a positive experience with an INFJ 4w3
