    Hi, I'm Johnny.

I've never been so obsessed with a philosophy/personality system more than MBTI.

I took a test a long forever ago, I think, but didn't really notice anything special.

But a few years ago I stumbled upon a description of a few MBTI types and found the accuracy of ENTP astonishingly accurate (for me, at least).

I had so many epiphanies about myself, it was weird.

MBTI is not perfect, but it sure as hell is the closest art/science of categorizing certain personalities.

I see it as a tool, not a religion. I generally forget about it when I'm not on a forum, but it has helped tremendously in understanding myself and when applied, others. Especially in a work environment, or with an intimate relationship. But again, I use it as a general guide.

I like stereotypically ESTP activities, outdoor sports/activities, kinesthetic endeavors, etc. But I am attracted to them so as to get OUT of my overactive mind, that tends to over analyze just about everything if I let it.

I hope I meet some people, haha, and that they like me and I don't come off as too abrasive (a common description given to me).

I mean well, but I'll admit, I can be a devil's advocate and will often push the envelope on any given subject. I'm not trying to troll or be a dick, but I'm sure it comes off as that at times.

Anyway, nice to meet you and I hope I get a like. : D

    Hi!!!!!!!! Nice to meet you!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about the multiple epiphanies thing. And the excitableness. And the obsession, And yeah. Well, I never related completely to the typical ENTP descriptions but what I've discovered through the cognitive functions thoroughly made up the difference. If you want an older and, um, older mentor, I'm here :P Though you almost have as many posts as I do. How did that happen? Wait, I know how that happened, but still.

    Welcome.

Unfortunately, many seem to treat it like the latter.

I don't know why but when ever I see "Excitable (noun)" I think whatever the pronoun is as an incontinent toy dog that pees everytime it's excited

Hi I'm a very mellow ENTP. There seem to be a lot of us on here! It's awesome, but unfortunately it's not the same IRL.

Taking a concept to it's logical end is rarely logical or relevant to the subject at hand.

I'm actually not that excitable, haha. Pretty laid back IRL and online.

Lol, not much at all. Why?

When I do though, say once every 2 months, I'm either "that guy" or just more jolly and over the top. Saying whatever to whoever, as long as my friends are laughing real hard. And I don't discriminate. Black, white, asian, hot girls, not-hot girls etc. Not generally offensive, but I have had water dumped on me before.

Or if I'm with a girlfriend, too drunk to even have sex, I will often resort to English, Australian, or Irish accents...apparently. Hilarity ensues....apparently. That's being drunk to the point of "fucked in half." Not totally blacked out, but spotty memories. Or things I had to be reminded of that were a lot more hilarious after I had sobered up thinking, "wow, kinda can't believe even I would say/do that. but not really."
