Default Any room for a female INTJ?

Hi everyone. I've been interested in Myers-Briggs typology for a while. I've taken the test numerous times, at different ages, and my result has always been INTJ. For a while I was a member of an INTJ forum, and at first I liked being part of a group of people with whom I identified so strongly, but after a while it got old, and slightly discouraging. I'm keenly aware of my own flaws and weaknesses, and being in a forum full of people who had those exact same weaknesses was just... too much. I didn't learn anything; I was simply forcibly reminded of what annoyed me about myself.

That's why I'm interested in this forum. There seems to be a nice mix of all the different types, and diversity is what I'm looking for.

    A little about me:

I'm twenty-nine(almost thirty), I'm a veterinary assistant, and I live in the US. My likes include:

    Cooking and learning new recipes
    Reading
    Writing
    Drawing
    Cold, rainy weather
    Tea
    Biology, especially marine biology
    Comic books
    Classical music
    Buster Keaton
    P.G. Wodehouse
Binge-watching my favorite shows (Futurama, M*A*S*H, and most of the Star Trek series, among others)
    Camping and hiking
    Being alone
    Making lists (har, har)

    My dislikes include:

    Crowds
    Loud noises/people
    Small talk
    Pointless and/or irrelevant conversation
    Racism/sexism
    Willful ignorance
    Reality TV
Most sports, and by extension, sports fanatics
    The sun

So those are some of the salient points. I promise I'm not as scary as I sound. Anyway, I hope to get to know all of you, and have some great learning experiences!

binge watching futurama and listening to classical music? Those are two of my favorite things as well. You've got good taste. Welcome.

Similar to that endearing moment you're in a restaurant and you order the octopus and it tastes almost nauseating. I've welcomed such a meal through ignorance and it's that doubtful moment you see it, that experience of its scent. Just a bite and such is when you know you have a bad octopus.

Interesting. I hung out with a lot of ENTPs on a forum and had a blast. But I've probably learned more here. I guess learning is neat.

    Welcome!

Welcome aboard from a common lurker / *very* occasional INTJ poster.

Consider yourself commended for the hiking, cooking, alone time, and especially the Wodehouse (do you prefer his novels or his Jeeves and Wooster short stories?)
Consider yourself on probation for not liking [participatory] sports such as bicycling or yoga/martial arts/weightlifting (yes, even for females, weightlifting does amazing things).
