    We are very welcoming. It's a feeding frenzy when new blood enters.

    Avatar + terse welcome with a serious lack of emojis and exclamation points. Even phen was intimidated just a little.

    oli and Beorn - thanks!

    Is vent where "real talk" happens or can I still have a good experience on these forums by staying strictly in the forums?
    I am not at all a fan of voice chat (outside of clan gaming) for practical and personal reasons.

    The question is, what sort of feeding frenzy! I don't mind being licked, but I'd rather not get bitten.
    The other forum I visited seemed more concerned about asserting seniority, dissecting my posts (in an ad hominem sort of way) and telling me that I was an outsider, than actually discussing. @A@

    @Glint -

    The main component of Vent for us is the chat feature. Most of us don't voice chat, but the option is always present. There are usually people willing to engage in voiced discussions.

    Most often though, the meat is done through text. It's just a live interface making for more personal communication. Everyone there is probably more akin to family or inhabitants of a large domicile than anything. We are truly friendly peoples. And more importantly... the keepers of many secrets regarding type.

    Bonsoir Me too I have tried to explore MBTI in other places, even in my own language.

    You'll see that here people are only intimidating to french, maybe because they are using a perfect english slang.
