    Default INTP Intro.

    I have read a lot on this forum but I just decided to become an active member. I guess I can contribute to something for once in my life. Anyway, I'm an INTP and I have a pretty deep interest in this typology stuff. I love meeting and talking to other INTP's so feel free to hit me up if you so please!

    Welcome to the form!

    Terrible things happen to good people every day.
    Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
    I am one of the terrible things.

    To quote an important person I definitely didn't make up, "You speak the language, but can you sing in it?"

    My general experience with INs has been surprisingly saddening to me. The description of the types sound swell, but type is not everything: sometimes, one simply does not "click". I suspect the energy requirements involved in constructing and maintaining active connections are a deterrent, though I have yet to discern how much I am personally at fault. Probably much. Still, hope springs eternal, though she is a frail thing.

    If that paragraph doesn't make sense, ignore it. I'm tired, and I barely removed the packaging before firing those words out the door with a large "SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED" notice attached to them. We should instead talk about the attempts by certain corporations to trademark words like "saga", and how the likelihood of a word being successfully trademarked is proportional to how uncommon that word is in everyday speech, and how what does this mean in a world transitioning towards abbreviations, simplified sentences, and shoddy grammar (say I in an increasingly run-on sentence)?

    To restate myself, what if the culture of "texting terminology" results in everyone knowing about 5% of the English language, resulting in "saga" being trademarked with no repercussions because no-one ever uses it?

    Oh yes, and nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums, almost-fellow INTP!

    welcome new INTP!
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.
