Is this the unluckiest personality type and gender combo there is?
My parents thought I was insane for questioning 'received gender stereotypes' as a teen.
I frequently get teased for 'walking around in my own little world' or 'living in my head'
Some of my observations about the world, which seem to me to be absolutely true and obvious, are groaned at and called 'hyper-rationalist-depressing' by my friends...
and so on.
I have taken that damned test numerous times and INTJ classification is inescapable!
Sometimes, it seems to me I would have a much much easier life (especially in a romantic sense) if I were an INTJ man.
And Hello everybody, by the way
While I am certainly not female and cannot comment on the particulars of your situation in that regard. Wouldn't you rather have the gift of clear certainty about reality and be able to see with a rational and unflinching mind than to trade it all for more social comfort (rose tinted glasses) and conformity? The key may be in teaching yourself to fine tune the mind/mouth filter so that you can allow your friends and family to enjoy their bliss without raining reality on their parade. Personally I would not trade a thing.
Welcome to the club. haha Eh don't be so bothered. I like being me and wouldn't have it any other way. It's nice not being obsessed with how I look or having arm candy for the sake of arm candy and other dumb female sterotypes. I just got here too but hope you enjoy your time here.
"I trust what you are doing though…I just see it a little differently.
I don’t see it as you stepping away from the fire. I see it as the fire directing your course.
No matter how airy or earthy or watery you become... to many of us you will always be...a super nova."
"Behind these gates of seeming warmth sits, loosely chained, a fierce attack dog. Perhaps not crazy, but dangerous"
