    Default Starting Over

I'm not so sure what chapter I'm on.
    Let's call it "facing fear".

*clears throat and speaks as if this is an AA meeting*

Hi ... My name is NK. I used to be an active user on PerC.
I'm a recovering jerkface or otherwise known as an insane person.

I've been sober now for the last 24 hours.
My enneagram type is 2w1,5w6,8w9 (sx/so).

Knowing my enneagram helps a lot.
I hope to play nice and continue taming the tortured tritype resonating in my playfully absurd brain.

I'm very sensitive and just a stupid cat who tries to be good.
Please be nice to me and never take me too seriously.
I just like to have fun a lot but sometimes I get into trouble.
Don't hesitate to bark in my face when I'm bad. But I promise I'll do the best I can.
My very honest intention is to learn and grow.

Thanks for listening. Being totally open is super hard.
Pardon my ridiculous intro. I've a dry sense of humor and it takes the uncomfortable edge off.

*This is the part where you clap and tell me to keep coming back to stay sober or something.
I've never been to an actual AA meeting. But that's usually how it goes in the movies*

    p.s.

I know I'm an INFJ. I've been into typology for some years now and I've been an INFJ for 34 yrs.
But if you would like to play the typology police, I won't hold it against you.
But I'm trying to focus on taming myself.
So please excuse my apathetic response to that game and accept my sincerest apologies.

    Welcome.

In what way(s) do you find knowing your Enneagram to help you?

Because I'm more of an "In your face" personality type but not intentionally. I'm opinionated and I'm open minded but most people are put off by my energy. Inside I'm all sorts of sensitive. I want people to be really direct and blunt etc. However, they aren't. And so I'm typically left to figure things out on my own. Which is okay.

Anyways. I'm not evil or anything. But knowing the enneagram accurately is really the holy grail. Actually, my interests in it were always for personal discovery etc. I initially thought I was a 7. 7 and 2 are incredibly similar yet so very different. I then thought my tritype 278. But then over time, It clicked. Typically when I realize things it's an out of nowhere "click". I often know things and I know I know but can't quite put my finger on it .. and then out of nowhere, I got it. Also, I think the tritype was MOST beneficial to me in order to understand my effect on people, how people see me etc. (Viewing My blind spots essentially).

    Thanks for the welcome.

Yes. Is that a goose, chicken, duck, in your avatar. And why does it only have one leg?
