I was never typed as 9 but @Zarathustra suggested I acted like one. 9 is an integration point for 6 so that might have something to do with it. I added it to my Tritype as a result but I'm not sure I believe in Tritype.

When did you change your views on tritype? What are your views now?

What tritype did you identify with before? As for 9'ish avoidance, I don't really get that vibe from you.

When I read them originally, the two types that resonated the most were 8 and 3. For quite a while, I thought I was an 8. Then I figured out 6 after getting tested as you know. I began to question my views on tritype when someone suggested that for several people (me included), their integration/disintigration points seemed to be aligning with their tritype. So, as a 6, for me to show characteristics of a 3 (which I definitely do) and a 9 would be natural. The description for 639 might be better than 638. That was another data point. Not to take anything away from the authors of it (which I hold in high regard) but there isn't as much proven data or theoretical foundation for the tritype model in my opinion as the basic theory.
