    Default New NF User

Hello, all! I've been lurking this site for a fairly long time now. I'm very impressed with the users here -- it strikes me as one of the most simultaneously intellectual and diversified forums in the typology online world. Usually, it's one or the other.

    Looking forward to being here.

After having discovered my type a few years ago, I've finally shunned identifying too much with it, especially on forums, because...it can become a parasite that will eat away at other facets of your identity.

In other words, I see type as a starting point, or as an oasis in the middle of the desert that life can become. Having found my tribe and felt the much-needed concordant affirmations and identifications, I can depart anew without the crutch of the label.

I am far more than my MBTI and Enneagram types.

    I'm a 4w5 INFJ.

    I also like your avatar.

Female INTPs seem not to occur often! What's it like?

I like your approach. Type is complicated, and perhaps best used as a mere springboard for personal growth and identity. I have a seemingly conflicting MBTI and enneatype, and some people actually take issue with that. Sometimes typology enthusiasts get a little too textbook for my taste.

Also, nice username and avatar. Definitely approve.

What a coincidence? I am watching the girl with the dragon tattoo right now.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you'd enjoy it as much as I do.
