Another INFJ? I thought they were 1% of a general population. Seems like we have a case of over-representation here. When can we start the culling?

yeah it's interesting how INFJs are the most rare type and there are so many active ones here.

    although, some may be mistyped...

Of course, that in itself doesn't prove Kierkegaard was INFJ, but it sure does point in that direction.

In any case, we know he was at least INFX
    Hi Peguy. Welcome.

It goes without saying that I totally disagree with Kierkegaard being INFJ. He's totally Fi, not Ni. Kierkegaard does not have the same meandering nature to his inquiries that Dostovesky shows. Kierkegaard clearly shows internal judgement.

BlueWing did a great job of comparing and contrasting Dostovesky and Kierkegaard in his INFP profile

People talk about INFx, but my gosh INFP and INFJ are two very different animals. There's a lot of difference between the Fi and the Fe judgement.

I remember reading something similar to this at infp.globalchatter, and Wandering did a pretty good job critiquing it. I also added my own two cents specifically on the issue of Dostovesky vs. Kierkegaard.

I even gave Lev Shestov's assestment of the two men:
"And here he comes so close to Dostoevsky that one may say, without fear of being reproached for overstatement, that Dostoevsky is Kierkegaard's double. Not only their ideas, but also their methods of inquiry into the truth are absolutely identical, and are equally unlike those which form the content of speculative philosophy. Kierkegaard went from Hegel to the private thinker Job. Dostoevsky did the same...Dostoevsky, like Kierkegaard, "withdrew from the general," or, as he himself expresses it, "from the allness." And he suddenly felt that it was impossible and unnecessary for him to return to the allness; that the allness i.e., what everyone, in every time and place, considers to be the truth is a fraud, is a terrible illusion; that all the horrors of existence have come into the world from the allness toward which our reason summons us...."
