    Cool Hey peeps! :)

To all my peeps in this forum,

I am Paulo, an ESFP (I was just told I was, then later on I found out it was true), and I really find MBTI interesting, but being that I am ESFP, it's hard for me to fully grasp it. So, here I am, joining this forum to find ways to understand this.

My friend, @maskara, told me about MBTI almost a year ago and whenever we get a chance to hangout, he tries his best to explain this and help me understand, I don't know, either I'm stupid or this MBTI thing is THAT complicated. I don't know!

So, whatever! HI GUYS! WHAT'S UP?!

Oh, man, it's THAT complicated. Once you get past the four letters and to how the cognitive functions work is where the real fun begins. Your English seems fine as well. @gmanyo Anyway, hi.

yeah, i heard! maskara said that the letters were just the icing of the cake and that there are things like temperment and cognitive functions and ne-fi, ne-ti. :|

If you really want to "get" it, just memorize the 8 cognitive functions and what they do. Every type in the MBTI is led by two cognitive functions--one thinking/feeling function, and one sensing/intuiting function. If you're an ESFP, these two would be extroverted sensing and introverted feeling. One of these "leads" the other--in your case, extroverted sensing comes first, and then introverted feeling. Then you also have two "opposite" functions which are mirror images of your first two. If your first is extroverted sensing, your last is introverted intuition. If your second is introverted feeling, your second to last is extroverted thinking. The functions which come first are the ones you're better at, and the ones which come last are the ones you're bad at. That's it in a nutshell. Or maybe I'm bad at explaining.
