Default OH GOD IT'S A NOOB.

    Well, it's a greeting, ain't it?

hai2u2. I'm Evening, or Eve for short, but you can also call me Beth if you prefer first-name basis. I casually ripped the name from a webcomic since I was lacking originality this... um, evening.

I'm not new to the internet, nor to foruming, nor to MBTI. I've actually browsed this forums before (heck, I had an account on INFP forums whilst they were around, and posted in it.... twice). I keep coming back to MBTI now and again, although I'm heavily sceptical of it as a system at the moment, mainly because I'm somewhat convicted that the idea of a 'base' personality being somewhat bogus and an apparition designed by our own minds. That said, morbid curiosity - or vanity - wants to finally crack MBTI. I want a superficial category, dammit!

I'm an INxP myself - I scored INFP pretty solidly with a weak F when I first took tests, but I'm really a borderline INFP/INTP. There's a few reasons why it's slightly complicated, which I might get into later.

As for myself, as a person (my word aren't intro posts egotistic?), I'm female, left-handed, left-wing atheist who flirts with socialism and anarchism (somehow?), and who spends most of their spare time reading things. I will be starting my English BA next year (and three years afterwards perpetual unemployment unless the cynic in me wins after all and I end up doing a law conversion D: ). I write short stories and poetry, and hope that at some point during my life I'll get a taste of doing that professionally - I'm not naive; the publishing industry sells either escapist rubbish or quality work, and I doubt I'll be able to produce either of those.

I should also mention that I can habitually make posts of, well, exhaustive lengths.

It's true. I loathe long posts. Welcome to the forum, Eve. Lol.

I have a tendency to lack brevity. It's something I've been attempting to work on. I think my ex-boyfriend's mother recognised me online solely from the amount of unnecessary 'possibly's, 'maybe's, 'could be's, and 'sort of's I used in a sentence - I hate using absolutes, and superfluous adjectives sort of dull the impact of them a bit.

I guess the folk around here would call that my P going into overdrive.

Oh, well then. Let's torture your ex's mother.

Haha, don't worry, we have plenty of people who tend to write big walls of text. It's not a bad thing. Glad to have you here. You seem like a rather unique individual and I look forward to reading what you have to offer here. Welcome!

    Welcome!

I like the name "Eve". It has a lush symmetry about it.

Hmmm...sounds like someone's got a bad case of INFPitis.

Looks like we'll have to amputate your brain.
