Smile Insert witty and original introductory post title here

    Hello all,

I thought that, since I've been posting here and there, it was time I introduced myself. It's at this point that I wonder where to start, how much is too much and how much is too little. I suppose I will being with the most important bits and see how things go from there!

My name is Sidhe, at least it is online. I work at home as a freelance writer and I recently completed a Masters in Creative Writing. I'm also a stay at home mum to one adorable yet devilish almost-two-year-old son. I am a very "hand-ons" parent and truly enjoy focusing on raising my little boy. To get a little mushy here, he is the light of my life, even when he's having one of his epic tantrums.

I've been happily married to since June 2008. We met in 2005 and very quickly went from friends to in a relationship to engaged, with marriage following almost exactly three years after we first met. It was just one of those natural progression things. If you'd like to know, he's an INTJ. We do have the occasional problem with communication and thinking about the same issue very differently, but for the most part we complement each other well.

We share our home with a collie named Willow, who is just a big fluffy ball of goofiness and affection.

I believe in love, compassion and treating others with respect above all things.

    Sidhe

Welcome! Cast your eye down to the "Similar Threads" box below for a downer. Nevermind though -- your intro thread is infinitely better than mine was.

Here you will find many many many many many hours of reading from INFJs about INFJs. You guys are a pretty verbose lot.

Welcome! Collies are awesome. My last dog was a Collie, and my current is a Sheltie. Those dogs just have the best temperament ever.

Wow, a master's in creative writing! Excuse me while my eyes grow all sparkly. I'm also a new INFJ, hi!

I considered going for creative writing, but I thought that doing something I love for pay might make me not like it...? I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that most of my hobbies could never be job-related. But partially because I am very unmotivated when it comes to finishing writing. I just make up characters and write little bits of things that never are fit for human eyes. Anyway, what do you like to write about?

To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.
