I know Blue Jays are found outside of Canada but.... Are you from Canada?! Toronto!! *Please* don't be from Texas! Or I'll know I was right that Texans will be taking over too!

    Blue Jays.. so annoying

The enneagram tests are a lil weird. I've been told I'm 2, 4, 5, & 7 at times. It all seems to depend on the questions asked in the test or the way they're worded. I accepted that I'm more of an enigma long ago tho so.. Just Ask DD what MBTI type I am

lol...not Canada! Too cold up there. I did however live in Texas for my high school years though that seems decades ago. Ugh...it was decades ago. I was whelped in California though so I believe that trumps all. Currently I'm south of Canada and north of Texas when I'm not traveling for business.

I totally know what you mean about being displaced in your family...all of my family members are NTs and I'm an NF, and everyone always looks at me with this "why aren't you more traditionally successful like us?" look in their eyes.

But I never realized that that was why until you said something about it. So thanks =)

Yay! It looks like you could possibly excite me as much as I excite myself!

Wait, did that sound bad? Oh well. Saying stupid things makes you smarter. I think you're cool, welcome to the site.

My Enneagram is confusing, too, but I seem like a good mix of 8 and 5.

Now Sid, we just met!! However, I must say, I do tend to excite myself beyond measure so gut instinct tells me I just may meet or exceed your expectations.

I took the "long" enneagram test at similarminds.com. I think perhaps this test result is more accurate. Ultimately it looks like type 8 keeps presenting itself most strongly however which is surprising. I can relate to type 7 very well and if you met me you would probably agree.

I'm the person that can go at it with an ENTJ and win them over eventually. I exhibit ENTJ traits when fighting a battle, however, I know hitting an ENTJ head on is like running into a brick wall...twice. I don't feel the need to control people to do my bidding. What I do absolutely feel the need for, is to control the situation and my personal state to bring about the result I'm looking for. Rather than controlling by sheer force of will I prefer to control by being "fluid" and shifting my position as needed.

When I read the type descriptions, I am more comfortable with the type 7 description as the 8 is a bit to structured for me though I do relate to many aspects of it. So, 7w8 or 8w7? Self discovery...almost as good as chocolate!

Reading a book (or webpage I suppose) with the enneagram types is a lot more helpful than the test.

similarminds.com kicked me out as type 2 or type 5 depending on the test.

eclecticenergies.com kicked me out as type 2 with high 9 or 4w5/5w4

enneagraminstitute.com kicked out that I'm tied in 5 & 7 for the top spot, followed by 9 then 4 then 2.

I guess my problem is like most tests including MBTI I can relate to more then one description at the same time. Tho never really one single one completely.
