    Default Hi from Gala

    Just pottered over from INTPc.

I'm a grad student, teach part-time and am queen of procrastination. If you see me on line, it means I'm pretending to be doing some intensive intellectual search of some deep sociological subject, and therefore the best response to my normally inane posts is generally 'go away and do some real work for once'.
At which point I'll probably go:
:steam: and keep on with my particular rant anyway.

    Welcome, Gala.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
