I'm an ISTJ. Nice to meet you all. I have a couple of friends on here and they, after mentioning how active this place is, convinced me to stop by.

Just a little extra information about myself:
I am an agnostic-atheist, free-thinking, evidentialist, ex-Christian Preacher. So, in short, for an ISTJ, I don't exactly fit the structured mold or stereotype of my type. Not looking for a religion based fight/argument, just saying. Been going to psychological therapy for awhile and my type is coming to more full realization, but slightly changing aspects of my life, out-of-type.

My main hobby is comic book collecting. Green Lantern, nuff said.

Welcome to the forum. Always nice to have another ISTJ join our midst.

Ah, we seem to be collecting ISTJs!

It's a good thing, we need someone to file our taxes! (Yes, I'm kidding.)

Welcome! I'm here often, and I just love spreading my misery!

The board that I was referred to is a bit full so I'll just post this here:

    Backgound
    1. What is your personality type? ISTJ
    2. Are you male or female? Male
    3. What country do you live in now? What country are you born in? US/US
    4. What cultural background are you? Typical White
    5. What religion are you? What religion is your family? Agnostic-Atheist, Family: Christian (American Baptist)

    Questions
    6. What career are you in or looking to be in? What are you doing right now to help you achieve this career goal? I am a Keyholder at Bennigan's. I am pursuing a career in Restaurant Management and have started classes in college pertaining to this field. Yes, I know, an "I" being surrounded by people daily! Unheard of! lol The micromanagement portion of the job is where I shine.

    7. What is your friendships like with both genders? How many good friends do you have and why are you friends with these people? My friendships are very respectful, as I have problems with very few people. Both genders are similar in interaction with me. I am a reformed people-pleaser (a "yes-man.") I have a small circle of close friends. They are the best people ever. I am friends with these people because, although we differ, in affect we are very like-minded. Kind of a vague answer to the last part, but it suffices.

    8. What paranoias do you have? I can't find the correct context for anything I'd feel appropriate to go in this space.

    9. What are your vices? Procrastination, Over-eating

    10. What are your fears? Large creatures in open water, being misunderstood/misinterpreted.

    11. What is your relationship like with your parents? siblings (if you had any)? I am on good terms with my parents for the most part. My father is a career alcoholic, and my mother is a hypocritical Christian. My brother and I differ in view, but we're cool with each other.

    12. How are you with expressing emotion in public? For the most part, unwilling to do it. I am normally very cold emotionally, with the exception of anger. If I can get angered, I'm extremely passionate and outspoken about it.

    13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now? I was a smart, overweight, saxophone-playing, Dungeons & Dragons nerd and good person. Now I am a smart, overweight, comic book collecting, D&D playing, good person.

    And finally....
    14. What do you see as the point to your life and life in general? A simple answer: to be happy. You create, in your mind, what makes you happy. If it is unreasonable, you'll never be happy. I am because my requirements are simple. My basic needs are met (health, food, shelter, clothing, etc.), I have a path in life I have no trouble following (eventually a manager, going to college, pursuing my goals), and I have a close circle of friends that respect me as I respect them. I am truly happy, occasionally sexually frustrated, but happy, nonetheless.

There you go. I'll express my religious ideals elsewhere.
