I saw a ball rolling around the corner.

    Dangling participle.

    BOOYA.

Says the girl with a fake English minor.

Either that, or I am quite nimble and having a good time chasing a ball.

    In which case:

As I was rolling around the corner, I saw a ball.

And yes, my name is Mort [for all intensive purposes for this particular second in time].

    How could I forget?

That makes at least 3 other ENFJs for you to frolic with Evan, and at least a dozen other types to keep you company.

obviously "in a really twisted attempt at logic....actually I was just being cocky". when you speak you no longer silent right? so honesty goes at the window as well but its cool. I should have been more specific.

    Is it...

"I saw a ball rolling around the corner," and the sentence was passive? I don't know, you've stumped me.
You were so close. Your correction and assumptions were accurate

The sentence I asked you to correct was a textbook example of a dangling particple. For some reason unknown to me that particular sentence is very memorable.
