    Default INFP's rule?

Did INFP's become popular when I wasn't looking?

We don't normally form such a strong quarum, but here we seem to rule -- I mean as far as population goes. I hardly ever meet another INFP in "real life", but this site is busting with them!

Maybe we're all flocking together where we can figure out our feelings? This is awesome, btw!

I am male, in my late forties, so I think I am older than most of you guys, but I am still searching for myself, and understanding of my world.

    about me:

INFP (INP all very strong, my first test, back in late eighties, from the original "Please Understand Me", Myers Briggs, showed me as a weak T, and now I test as a weak F, in both old and newer tests)

4w5 sp, but possibly 9w1 sx (I am leaning toward the type 4 right now).

INFp (socionics, no surprise here, but I really dislike the description the web site gives for this type)

    Welcome!

I think a forum that talks about psychological stuff just tends to attract certain types. That's why the INPs are over-represented here. Also, as you read more, you'll notice that INFP seems like the default category for people who are unsure and don't fit strongly in a type.

Nice to see another INFP who is mathematically and programing inclined. And I agree with your post in thinkling's intro thread. Coding is an art!

I may not agree with what you are feeling, but I will defend to death your right to have a good cry over it

    Hello and welcome!

INFPs might be populous around here but never popular, so no doubt will feel at home

We need some older INFPs around here. I look forward to hearing your insights and perspectives.

    Yeah! Like:

    1) At what age does the friend zoning stop?

    2) When do we grow a spine?

    3) How long till someone is willing to give me credit for doing a good job?

Hey! I wasn't talking to you! We have been granted an audience with an ancient INFP here, be quiet, bow down and listen to it talk...

I like to hear from older INFPs also, since many INFPs online seem to be teens or in their early 20s. I've already been down that road....

    1. Female INFPs DO the "friend-zoning"
    2. Born with one :workout:
    3. forget ancient INFPs, this one is for the ancient of days....
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)
