It IS the flipside of romantic obliviousness....

Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

    ^ What I meant.

The rest of you need to calm down That kind of nonsense is rather childish and unnecessary :rolli:

The early part of life is usually so harrowing to the male INFP that one who makes it to the 40s cannot be anything but awesome!

    Oh. My. God.

    Another INFP!

They must reproduce by fission, under a rock, in a dark cave.

    And, hola.

INFPs are the nicest people in the world. We all know this in our hearts, but it does take a while for INFPs to mature, but the result is that they are resilient, flexible and sensitive, all at the same time.

Mature INFPs are like a fine old wine and just as intoxicating.

I must admit I melt in the presence of female INFPs. I become tongue-tied. I can't speak and I cast around for something to say. But all I want to do is listen to her tone of voice and watch the way she moves. And then, and then, she actually speaks to me and I forget everything else.

Her voice soothes and intoxicates me at the same time. I sway in the current of her voice. I dance to the rhythm of her words. I loose myself and find myself in her.

And only when she leaves, I awake. Somehow I am wistful. I can't quite remember except for a long, slow tune played by the wind in the willows.
