    Smile So Welcome

I am partially guided by the threads but mostly I am guided by my inner life. So I share my inner life through the threads. It's not a perfect fit but the threads give me an opportunity as well as inspiration.

And I see you as an opportunity and an inspiration, so welcome.

Welcome! No way, the bigger the better. This way, there's all kinds of personality types with different thoughts, concepts and impressions.

So bring your friends, family, dog, cat, turtle and people you work with. Cats can be pretty astute. They gravitate towards people with allergies.

    Smile Shrinkage

You're right. This forum is too big so all we have to do is figure out who to cull.

Of course it will be done with the utmost humanity and if possible by natural attrition.

And I notice there are very few non-believers here but an over supply of believers. So I think non-believers in MBTI should be declared an endangered species and preserved. But the same can't be said for believers.

So you see, already we are able to rationalise our problem of over population, just as the believers are able to rationalise their belief in MBTI.

And by the application of reason we will be able to shrink the whole population down to just two - thee and me - and even thee's a little quare.

That is true. As long as you keep posting here, you will find this place smaller.

And, I can fit the regular SJs here:

Oh yeah... info about myself? maybe later :P
Welcome to the forum! Hope you're not too intimidated by the size. I felt the same way when I first joined so you're definitely not the first one. What works for me is the new posts feature. I have the list of new posts in one tab and when I see a thread that interests me, I open it up in a new tab. I've found this method to be alot more efficient then visiting each subforum, looking for new posts.

Also, I've had to be more selective about what to read or not read. Which isn't always easy because there's a lot I'm interested in. Before joining TypoC, I was active on smaller forums where it was easy to read and keep up with all of the posts. Sometimes I'd even read threads that weren't all that interesting because sometimes they'd go off on a tangent that's more interesting than the original thread itself. I just don't like missing out on stuff. But with a forum this size, it's very difficult to read everything, so it is a game of pick and choose, especially if you got other things in your life you've got to attend to like work or family. Such is life. Another thing, is that I limit myself to checking the forum once a day. Otherwise I've found I've had problems with forum addiction to the point where I wasn't getting other stuff done.

How was it different in the earlier days? I've only been on this forum for about 5 weeks.
