Default rough around the edges, INFP

This is a reason why I believed and tested INTP most of the time, I'd say 7/10.

Then I took a cognitive functions test and scored highest on Fi followed very very close with Ne. So I guess this makes me an INFP. Some suggested an ENFP.

I'm way more cynical, pessimistic, dark, analytical, and 'up to something' mode than the several INFPs I am acquainted with. Am I an unhealthy INFP? :ouch:

Nevertheless, I'm glad to be here with personality theory enthusiasts!

Hello and welcome I like your user name. It's moody but cute at the same time.

I don't know if how you described yourself is an unhealthy INFP... I find MBTI is an interesting theory and useful in its own place but you can't take it too far. And it really depends on how the test you're using weighs the responses. I have tested as INFP in the past but am pretty certain I am ISTJ.

No, not unhealthy. You're probably a INFP, enneagram type 5. It's good to have another one of those around. Although the cynical, pessimistic, dark aspect may mean you're in a bad place right now? In your life, I mean. Don't mean to carelessly speculate. But anyway...

    Welcome!

That's because those other INFPs were pussies.

And no. You just realize life isn't all rainbows, and sugar...

yes! I concur, Biaxident! In addition, I don't actually smile much or exude optimism from my pores. Plus, I cuss too frequently, when I'm excited, frustrated, angry, in my sleep... I'm trying to curb this bad habit, though.

I smile a lot and laugh a lot but I do not ooze optimism. I am very dark/cynical/critical. Your ennegram may be 5 or 4w5 with sp as your variant. Welcome! I don't know other infps so I don't know if you're unhealthy or not. If you're content with yourself, I say you're healthy. Apparently my excessive anger is a tad unhealthy - who knew. I don't know any angelic, rainbowy infps. That'd be annoying.
