Hmm. That handgun license is a good idea. I always like shooting my boss's pistol. Remington's are nice, the old Civil War black powder ones.

Yes, staff weapons. The really scary things

Well, there's always plastic surgery and salt water implants.
Not my thing, really, but... "Just sayin".

Ooh, I like single action black powder revolvers

Staff weapons are a thing of Star Gate, etc.
    They're called polearms.

    Staff weapon:

    Polearm (Lochaber axe):

I was thinking of something more like this.

To destroy even the best armored man.

For use against armored men, the war hammer is best

And they did exist as polearms as well.
I believe English knights were pretty commonly fighting on foot with those things.

You're being very picky =/ I'd tickle you if I could reach. Silly person. =/ *swat*

So, apart from polearms, what are your interests?
I wonder if you can give me a straight answer? Are you able to?

I believe they were at Crecy at least, since the French kept insisting it was because of them, not the longbowmen, they lost that battle. They stuck to this theory even at Agincourt.

I believe the battle of Agincourt was won because of an effective system, rather than just the longbowmen, just the boggy ground or the knights.
Those Cheval de frise-like poles the English had all over the place sure didn't do any favors to the French cavalry, either.
