I found Jung's "Psychological Types" and "Individuation Process" to be pivotal in understanding MBTI.

    Hey people,

So this MBTI stuff's pretty interesting, and ya'll obviously think so. That's right, ya'll. I'm from Texas. And no, that doesn't mean I ride a horse to school.

Not sure what I'm trying to say here, but I'm 20 and in college and I'd like to know more about typology... whatever information you want to throw at me would be much appreciated. thanks!
Perelthi, sentient, which is latin for...

    ...

Anyways, hi! If typology is the knowledge you seek, I have but one thing to say: it means everything, and it means nothing. It provides an excellent tool for classification, but don't rely on it too heavily, or it'll cave out from under you.

Pray tell, is December 7th your birthday? Inferring from that "1207" in your username...

If so, we share the same MBTI type AND birthday!

The worst mistake people make in political arguments is assuming that the other side is not trying to do the right thing. This simple oversight makes productive conversation nearly impossible.

I have yet to meet one. Maybe they're in hiding...

    Welcome, fellow INTP!
Always listen to experts. They'll tell you what can't be done, and why. Then do it.
