Good to see you, Wandering. Have a good time here! Try not to be a firebrand too much.

    Hehe, just kidding. :)
    Not really.

Hi, welcome. I am an INTP and am looking forward to analyzing and undertanding INFj's, along with other other types, until I can spot them out anywhere and understand their motives and actions.

Any particular motive behind that goal ?

But anyway: how to spot an INFJ... A few tips I can think of:

    * Look for the social Introverts. The kind that often spend time alone and/or quiet, but who light up very quickly when getting into a conversation.

    * Look for the Hermiones of this Muggle world, you know, those who always seem to know why someone did something

    * Look for the generally agreeable ones who suddenly burst into flames and/or tears when you touch on a subject that, it turns out, deeply matters to them.

    * Look for the superficially slightly inconsistent ones: they act one way when with one group, and another way when with another group.

    * Look for the Feeler among the Thinking scientists

And should you find someone who belongs to all those categories at once, then you can pretty much bet they are an INFJ

(And please nobody, INFJ or not, get offended: I'm speaking *very broadly* here, OK ? )

    ***

As for you Nadir: (but thanks for the welcome anyway )

So... Humhum... Hello everybody ! My name is Wandering and I'm:
    - an INFJ
    - 33
    - married (to an ENFJ)
    - mother of a 5yo son (I'm thinking he's INTJ)
    - French
    - living in Slovenia (because that's where my husband is from)
    - a regular at INFPgc
    - looking forward to participating around here

What else would you like to know?
Hello, Wandering. Welcome to MBTI Central. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about MBTI or general psychology.

Slovenia? Where is that? I've never heard of it.

You mean INFP's don't make you feel intimidated or confused?

What was it that made you interested in participating, out of curiosity?

Thanks for the welcome, and don't worry: I don't have my tongue in my pocket, as we say in France

Slovenia? Where is that? I've never heard of it.
It's the northernmost Ex-Yugoslavian Republic. East of Italy, South of Austria, West of Hungary, North of Croatia. Don't hesitate to use a magnifying glass if you look for it on a world map (but don't tell any Slovene I said that, they already have enough of any inferiority complex!)

You mean INFP's don't make you feel intimidated or confused?
Intimidated, not really no. But confused, oh yes, massively ! Especially since I got on INFPgc thinking I was one of them! You can imagine it didn't work too well at first But I've made a few good friends, and I've learned TONS, so it's all been more than worth it

What was it that made you interested in participating, out of curiosity?
As I said, I used to think I was an INFP, so I happily registered at INFPgc. I've been there for a good year now, and I figured it was time to expand my horizons once again. I did lurk a bit on INTPc some time ago, but I'm too old to get back to dealing with INTPs on their own turf (I did that when I was studying Physics). So after a couple of INFPgc friends mentioned MBTIc, I figured I'd give it a try. I came, I lurked, I registered
