Thanks, JAVO. And PinkPirahna kicks ass for liking Interpol.

You sound INTJ enough, and although you could be ENTJ, the only reason for my thinking that is the sheer length of your post.

You made your family take it? Sounds like you feel a strong resonance with these ideas, then. What are True Colors, by the way?

I understand the deep daydreaming part, and I'm kind of interested in philosophy. Although I'm more into psychology, computers, history, and sociology. I don't really like nature as much as deliberate art. Also, I've never really liked athletics. But I love cats... I think they're sweet.

I mostly like 80's rock... Styx, Queen, Genesis, Duran Duran, etc. I usually like Science Fiction and Fantasy, but I tend to watch Situation Comedies frequently as well.
I don't usually make posts that long; it was a stream of consciousness thing. But the whole I-E thing is on the borderline for me, so who knows.

I think MBTI's really interesting-I try not to take it too seriously because there's all sorts of degrees of variation possible within all personality types, but I thought it was neat when I read the INTJ descriptions and it matched myself fairly well. True Colors is another personality describing system based on David Keirsey's Temperament research. It's not totally psychology oriented...however if you get the four temperaments, then there's not much different with True Colors.

    Green - NT/Rational
    Orange - SP/Artisan
    Gold - SJ/Guardian
    Blue - NF/Idealist

Psychology and computers I'm fairly interested in, though not that much. History and sociology I've never really given a fair chance but I'm not that interested anyway. What is deliberate art? I'm not a fervent athlete or anything, but I like running...and cats are great. I've listened to some Queen, Duran Duran, and Styx, but it's mostly only their more well known stuff.

Hello there. One of the longer posts from an INTJ I've seen - it'd mean the topic matters to you, isn't it.

    Welcome and happy holidays.

Haha, this is what I wrote in my own introductory post over at INTPc:

    Hello FallsPioneer,
It's good to see a musician coming on board. I've got a musical question I'm too chicken to post. Your presence is encouraging me. Thanks.

There are actualy a few of us hiding in the wings; piano and baritone vocals here.

Thanks for posting everyone - with a thread like this where people are going out of their way to say hi, I'm trying to get back to all who post.

I'm all right with my instruments, although I won't bother with singing...I'm a baritone too, by the way (my school requires we do some singing for certain school events.) I don't know if I can answer your question, Jive A Turkey, but...?

Sandy, (why can't we look the other way? "Evil" by Interpol ) I think it's neat how we share all of those..."things I wrote that you identify with." And Economica...heh heh, a kindred spirit. Ironically (and not, I guess) I even agree with your sig. I don't need more people like myself to drive myself insane.

    HIGH-FIVE!
