    It is, it is.

I think I'll enjoy my stay but I hope I'll be able to contribute constructively.

    Oh and I'm an XX.
Who knows, maybe I am indeed Lord of this dominion.

That I think you will. You are already talking funny, which is appreciated. M'am
So, what music do you like?

And, besides Geber and things like that, what books do you read?

    Or maybe I am hallucinating...

The music and books I like depend on the mood/atmosphere. Today, for example, is an Andrew Bird day (more specifically "Andrew Bird and the Mysterious Production of Eggs" if it makes any sense.)

But on other days, it's Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, Death Cab for Cutie, Radiohead, Disney soundtracks, Yann Tiersen, Sondre Lerche, Stars and some death metal (when I really need to stop thinking/procrastinating and get things done).

Oh and I'm also open to suggestions..My music pile has been rather stagnant.

I actually had to look up Geber. I used to be into Camus and Sartre but these days I prefer different genres. My preferred genre is fantasy/sci-fi.

The Hitchhiker's Guide is my bible. I also like the Dirk Gently series, the Artemis Fowl series, and some other books that pique my interest whenever I enter the library. I still have a soft spot for the Harry Potter series, having grown up with the characters. But lately, it hasn't been easy to find books that don't follow the pattern established by Tolkien or J.K Rowling.

I think the only non-fiction books I enjoyed are "Surely, you're joking Mr Feynman" and "What do you care what other people think?".

Again, I'm open to book recommendations.

An alchemist who doesn't know Geber, eh?
    I am outraged :O

Hm. If you like Sci-fi/fantasy you should try out the Emberverse series by S.M Stirling.
If you've got a thing for the old days it's also a good match.

Weathergirl: District 38 is sunny. Slight rock showers this morning. Chance of rock showers into the afternoon—20 percent. District 39 is cloudy. Chance of rock showers this afternoon—10 percent.
Edward: Bebop here here! Alright woo hoo!
Weathergirl: Chance of rock showers today upgraded to 90 percent.
    Edward: Really.

Hello, I should mention that I also enjoy Yann Tierson.

    This will not end well...
But it will at least be poetic, I suppose...

Hmm... But what if it does end well?
Then I suppose it will be a different sort of poetry, a preferable sort...
A sort I could become accustomed to...
