I'm new to this type of forum where we find conversation through our personalities. I thought it'd be nice to learn more about others who have my similar personality and hopefully learn more about the other types.
To start things off, I'm an INFP according to the Jung test, and a 4w5. I've always been a romantic so I'm more than sure of its accuracy. Though, given the nature of INFP's, I have confused myself with several other personalities, due to the complexity this type usually has. For one, I have confused myself with the INTP because I have a highly developed sense of reason which happens to be an INFP's weakest function. I have confused myself with Extroverted side of these two personalities. However, I've learned that an introvert gains energy from solitude whereas an extrovert gets it from interaction. I get tired of to much interaction with people and will some times hole up in my place or somewhere quiet for days on end to recuperate.
I'm fascinated with a lot of subjects like psychology, philosophy, literature, history, music, art, dance, culture and so on. I guess I could just say I'm fascinated by culture's. I have a love for travel and a knack for anything creative and artistic. Like many of my type, I'm kind of stuck in that, "What do I want to do with my life?" stage. I want to do it all, my thirst for learning is quite insatiable. An idealist through and through, with an incurable sense of optimism. I also love writing poetry and prose. To be friendly, here is one of my poems.
"Went away across the plain.
My heart shattering into a million tears,
In the blink of an eye,
Simultaneously mending into a new light.
Crying oceans deeper than outer space.
Tears becoming beacons of light,
Starry light that shines warmth back into me.
Caught between happiness and pain
That knows infinite depths of soul.
Walking where black and white meet.
Continuing onward with an anguished heart.
Laughing in the face of adversity,
When fear is present like the Reaper's smirk.
Life or death, it doesn't matter,
My dreams will not suffer despair.
Hold my heard up high and step forward
Upon the road of ironic contingency.
Smiling and laughing the whole way."
Alright, I think that's a fair introduction. Anyhow, I look forward to meeting everyone and learning from one another what we have to offer. Till next time.
TTFN - Ta ta for now.
