Hm... hard to say. I don't really think so. The first guy who asked me out had an assertive dad (possibly ESTJ), a wimpy mom and a wimpy sister. But he was a bit of an intellectual snob (possibly INTJ), and I think he liked me because he liked the idea of having a girlfriend who was his intellectual equal, and willing to stick up for herself enough for back-and-forth debate-ish things to be possible.

But with other boyfriends, sure, sometimes they've had strong women in their lives. But mostly they're just attracted to strong women, for whatever reason
I'm pretty sure my husband is an INTJ - your comment about intellect and debate really rings true there.

Actually, you have no idea how many people have commented on my video on the video thread and told me that I was "adorable" or "sweet" or that they "want to pinch my cheek"... Bizarre, really.

Also, @ whatever: I really relate to the comment about your ESTJ friend looking like they're on a mission whenever they're walking around somewhere. People have told me that I always look really serious when I'm between destinations - sometimes people ask if I'm feeling okay

Wow, I'm derailing the thread. Sorry about that! Extra welcomes for you!

    Welcome Martinette!

Hey Lady! It's wonderful to see another ESTJ on here! I hope that you stick around. The Ask An ESTJ thread has been greatly helpful to so many people here, so it would be great to have more ESTJs to contribute!
