Default There should be a welcoming committee

    We should form one.

We can have people assigned to provide specific information of their expertise to the newcomers, like different private forum dynamics and such.

Oh look, JustHer is an ESFJ today.

I thought I was the welcoming committee? Everyone seems to enjoy my unique blend of friendly creepiness. Things were going especially well when I was using my "Cereal Killer" user title and avatar.

But seriously, I think it's a good idea.

I officially nominate you both as ambassadors of the TypC welcome committee.

    Thanks!

I nominate Biaxident and AllaboutSoul for the committee. Their dedication to saying hello is duly noted.

    Or an informative welcome PM.

A lot of people don't post welcome threads.

I used to post in welcome threads all the time. I found it annoying that most of the people that appeared, were never seen again in the forum. I find it fun to think of an original welcome for each member. I remember tricking some kind of ENFP at one point... but I can't remember what happened, it was so much fun.

The sky is BLUE has always welcomed noobs too. Rather consistently I might add.

Those things are so useless, it'd be a waste of time.

I might join the welcome committie occasionally... I might be busy for the rest of the year though

    Why are they useless?

You haven't encountered a useful one is what you mean by that.
