    I've unfortunately seen a number of people on the web calling themselves Kuranes, since picking this name I thought was suitably obscure. You may be thinking of one of them, unless we talked about it briefly on INTPC. If so, I apologize for forgetting our conversation.

    That's an excellent perspective. It makes me especially interested to see how this forum develops. Learning itself is enough of a 'refuge'. That's what the shareware math courses I've recently started do for me as well. Opportunity to think clearly and grow is some potent inspiration.
