Imagine an INFJ externalized. That's a pretty close approximation.
If it makes you feel any better, I don't know any other ENFJs either. Except the one male friend of mine, and we mostly discuss that fact that Bruce Campbell is so awesome he could cause cattle to give birth twenty miles away simply by application of his presence. (This ENFJ friend is married to an INFP, by the way.)
Hey! Something just occurred to me.
I had an argument with someone about the roots of a persons MBTI type.
They argued that your personality is basically destined by the time you've fully come together as a baby in the womb.
I argued that genes were only part of the cause, but that life experience should also alter someone's type(I believe it solidifies somewhere around fourteen to sixteen years of age).
Well.......... If my opponent were right, then shouldn't twins have the same type?
I'm sure it's quite possible. In fact, I saw a pair of identical females and they were carbon copies, down to the personality type. I pitied them. They were always arguing and were competitive and liked the same men and WOW that had to be stressful. I personally believe that you're hardwired a certain way and that life affects what you already have in the toolbox. I don't believe you "change" into something else. It's life acting on your set personality and your choices and your coping skills etc. That's just my take though. Who knows!
I think it's a combination, too.
The genes affect how you respond to the environment, but nothing can guarantee what the environment will be like.
The smallest life differences can change things, so I believe even clones would develop different personality types.
I generally feel that a persons type is unpredictable.
I was listening to the greatest double album of all-time today.
Thank you thank you I don't make heroes out of people I've never met, but Joe is the exception. I cried for three days when he died. It was very devastating. He made smart conscientious music, and I loved his attitude towards humanity.
